WebArchitects wants firmer position on the Belgian market

Full service internet agency WebArchitects will participate in the E-shop Expo 2011. WebArchitects is an international player in E-commerce and sees the Benelux as its home market. With several customers and good references in Belgium WebArchitects sees the need to position itself more firmly in Belgium as a full service interactive agency.

"E-commerce in Belgium takes in an increasingly prominent place and are increasingly an integral component of business strategy on administrative and board level. We see a similar development in Belgium as in the Netherlands several years ago in that e-commerce increasingly becomes part of the sales channel instead of the marketing channel. A shop should not only help to improve communication with customers but also contribute to sales and profit results. With our experience and the product and service line that WebArchitects provides, we can play an important role in supervising the online activities of companies in Belgium, "said Jeroen van Stijn, Commercial Director WebArchitects.

The Belgian e-commerce sector is making great strides. The last five years, revenue from online sales in Belgium increased fivefold from 339 to 1.602 billion euros.

Full service internet agency WebArchitects this year exists for 10 years. It started 2011 strongly as main sponsor of the Webwinkel Vakdagen, the largest and most important exhibition for e-commerce in the Netherlands, which attracted over 8000 visitors. Participation in the E-shop Expo is the next event in the anniversary year of the Internet Bureau.
