Filip Corens has gained more than 13 years professional experience in the Courier, Express and Parcel industries, working for companies such as World Courier, TNT & DHL Freight. During an intermediary period, at SDV, he was active in the international freight forwarding business. Filip has a very good knowledge of Sales, Commercial Management, Business Development and Customer Service. He also served for an extended period in a managerial position in the South East Asian region, and therefore appreciates cultural and economic differences. In March 2011, Filip Corens was appointed Director Sales & Marketing of DPD (Belgium) nv/sa. His aim is to steer DPD to the next level, from ´1 of the rest to 1 of the best´, combining winning volumes with reducing CO2 emissions, part of the sustainable strategy and commitment of mother company, GeoPost, a division of the French La Poste.
